Maria Eames embraced digital technology amid her emergence into the traditional art scene 20 years ago. She credits her early adaptation to the digital world for her successful evolutionary merger between classic and contemporary.

Her reflective compositions advance the artscape through her fusion of organic watercolor paintings, mixed-media collages, and photographs natural elements with fresh digital techniques. These pieces are delicately fashioned during the digital phase. Each of multiple layers are digitally revamped through masterful combinations of filters and effects to unlock dazzling abstractions rooted in plush, tantalizing colors.

She studied art and design at Alaska University and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Her watercolors and mixed media have been shown in juried art shows throughout the country and is part of many private collections around the world. Maria continues to evolve by devoting herself to full-time to commercial design and mixed media art.
